Mountain Shadows sits below Camelback Mountain in Paradise Valley, about 3 miles from downtown Scottsdale and 7 miles from Phoenix Sky Harbor airport. It is a boutique resort of modern design with an art gallery, two pools and its own golf course, The Short Course: 18 par-3 holes with an outdoor grill and lounge. It holds a Michelin Key.
The pool and the fitness center are at The Citizens Club, where the classes are complimentary. There is a restaurant with an exhibition kitchen, Hearth ’61 runs a Spirited Sipping Seminar, and Hearth Bar has live music on Friday and Saturday nights.
The offer covers October through December, when the days are sunny enough to spend by the pool or out on the course.
