What this website collects

Reading this site does not ask you to sign in, and the site itself does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Like any website host, Vercel, which serves these pages, keeps short-lived server logs (your IP address, browser type and the pages requested) to keep the site running and secure.

When you book a consult

The consult calendar is run by a scheduling service. When you book, it collects your name, your email address, anything you choose to tell me about your trip, and the time you picked. I use that to hold the call and to plan your trip. The scheduling service and the video-call service handle that information under their own privacy policies.

When you book travel through me

To book a trip I need details such as the names of everyone traveling, contact details, dates of birth when an airline or cruise line requires them, and payment details. I share what each booking requires with the hotels, airlines, cruise lines and tour operators involved, and with the travel agency I book through, which processes the bookings. I keep your trip records in a private planning system that only my team can sign in to.

I do not sell your personal information.

Your trip itinerary may be shared with you as a private link. Anyone you forward the link to can open it, so treat it like a document you would forward by email. The page does not show full names. Ask me any time for a new link, or to switch the old one off.

Links and embedded content

Some articles include videos (Vimeo), maps (Google Maps) and links to other sites. Those services can collect information about you when you play, open or click them, under their own policies.

Some links are affiliate or referral links. If you buy or book through one, the other company knows you came from this site and I may earn a commission. It does not change your price.

Your choices

Email me to ask what I hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted where I am not required to keep it for a booking or by law. To stop receiving email from me, reply to any email and say so.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
