The Brando is on Tetiaroa, an atoll of 12 motus, the small islands around its lagoon, 20 minutes by air from Tahiti’s Faa’a airport. Air Tetiaroa, the only passenger service to the atoll, flies you in on a 14-seat Twin Otter. The resort is 35 private villas and one residence on the motu of Onetahi, set back just off the beach, and every villa comes with an infinity pool. It is LEED Platinum certified, and the non-profit Tetiaroa Society was set up to protect the atoll, with a research and education center there.
On the All-Inclusive rate, stay four nights and pay for three in any villa, or five and pay for four. The flights from Papeete come free on top: for two in a one-bedroom villa, four in a two-bedroom and six in a three-bedroom villa or the Teremoana Residence. Alongside the free night, children under 12, up to two per villa, fly, stay and eat free at Beachcomber Café or Bob’s Bar.
The Brando also takes 30% off the villa rate for a week or longer, and 15% off the room rate for booking 60 days or more before you arrive, though neither adds to the free night.
